The company is located in the Yunnan Funing Green Hydroelectric Aluminum Integration Industrial Demonstration Park.

The project of producing 200000 tons of high aluminum alloy materials annually by Yunnan Hongbang mainly targets the high-end aluminum demand in industries such as new energy vehicles, 5G communication, and consumer electronics. It relies on Yunnan Shenhuo Aluminum Industry Co., Ltd.'s green hydropower aluminum to produce high-end primary aluminum alloy products, and uses surrounding resources to produce recycled aluminum alloy products. The project is implemented in two phases. The first phase aims to produce 100000 tons of high-end raw aluminum alloy materials annually, while the second phase aims to produce 100000 tons of recycled aluminum alloy materials annually.
